Leslie grew up in Tracadie, Antigonish County, NS, where her parents owned and operated a general store. She received her BA and BEd from Mt. Allison University, Sackville, NB after which she taught in public schools in Amherst, NS, and in Quispamsis, NB. She homeschooled her two children for eight years and then was principal of a private Christian school in Quispamsis for seven years. Having always been interested in health and nutrition, Leslie went back to school as a student, received her Diploma in Holistic Nutrition from Edison Institute of Nutrition in 2009, and started a private consulting business, Nutrition Works, in January, 2010.
Leslie is passionate about helping people maintain and improve their quality of health through optimum nutrition. An educator at heart, she loves to share the understanding and knowledge she has gained so that others may enjoy the benefits of healthy living. She has conducted many workshops for business and community groups on a variety of subjects relating to natural approaches to wellness and healthy eating. In her consulting practice, Leslie emphasizes the uniqueness of every person, and develops wellness plans to meet her clients individual needs.
Rachael has been practicing Yoga since 2002. With great respect for this ancient tradition and its many benefits she found her path to wellness and vitality. With great passion and a lifelong commitment to personal growth and community, True Nature Yoga came to life in 2009 with the intention of making yoga and health related classes and programs accessible to everyone.
Rachael completed her 200 hour teacher training in the Kripalu tradition in June 2009. She has since continued her education and self development with workshops and experiences through yoga, meditation and Wel-Systems programs. She is also certified in Senior's Yoga, Chair Yoga and Children's Yoga. Rachael has been a practitioner of the healing arts, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch since 1999 and the owner of Elysium Esthetics (Sept 2012 - June 2016.

She is a WEL-Systems® Institute Affiliate, Certified CODE Model Coach™, Registered Master Level Social Worker, Registered in Private Practice Clinical Social Work with NSASW, Nia Brown Belt and Green Belt Certified Instructor.
Nancy's unique background in health care, facilitation in adventure therapy and the dance/movement field has offered her a wealth of experiences. Her intention is to create conversation and movement experiences that are compelling and life transforming with individuals, families, couples and professionals, so that they know what it is to be creator of their own life.
